Important Announcement Regarding Inner Chamber Bookings
As this is holiday time, bookings are getting full very quickly. Please select the date for meditation from the available dates.
If you are visiting for a day or two, there is less likelihood of getting the booking as there are limited places and limited capacity for accommodating visitors for meditation everyday. Matrimandir is a place for silent meditation and a no photography area.
However, you are welcome to Auroville and to visit the Viewing Point of Matrimandir which is a raised area offering a beautiful view of the Matrimandir and its surroundings. It is possible to sit there for a while and take photos of the Matrimandir. No pre-booking is required and it is open everyday from 9.00am to 5.00pm.
